Twitter users are mercilessly mocking a pair of ankle boots that luxury designer Balenciaga is selling for$1,490, calling the bizarre design hideous and insisting they would only fit on witches feet.

The upscale logo is known for turning out fashionable clothes and niknaks worn via A-listers, however web users don't seem to be so impressed with one of its newest designs. 

The corset leather-based ankle boots, which can be indexed for $1,490 on Net-a-Porter, have Twitter users making comparisons to evil animated characters and ridiculing the emblem with giggling emojis.

The boots do not currently seem to be available on the Balenciaga site, even though they're for sale on websites like Net-a-Porter and MyTheresa, where they’re marked down 50 per cent off to $745.

They are available black and white and are made with leather-based, four-inch silver spike heels, and a corset-inspired lace-up design from the toe the entire approach up to the ankle.

Perhaps maximum notable, despite the fact that, are the long, sharply-pointed ft.

Net-a-Porter suggests wearing them ‘with the whole lot from cocktail clothes to denims.’

But Twitter users don’t assume any commonplace human being would put on the shoes at all, regardless of the outfit.

One shared a picture of the boot alongside a picture of a personality from ‘Miss Nelson is Missing’ by Harry Allard, captioning it: ‘Ain’t nobody dressed in these however her.’  

‘Witchiepoo might wanna borrow dem boots,’ wrote any other.
