Billie Eilish is responding to the claim that she called Cardi B “weird” while attending the rapper’s Met Gala after party.
Billie was one of the many celebs in attendance at the party that Cardi threw with Playboy and The Standard on Monday night (May 2) at the Boom Boom Room in New York City.
A video has gone viral on social media and it appears to show Billie saying that Cardi is “weird” while at the party.
Billie sent Cardi a voice message on Instagram, which the rapper then shared to her fans on Twitter.

Cardi tweeted, “I hate the internet cause one, how do y’all turn one of the most lit parties into drama?” Two, ‘ocean eyes’ is the song I cater to my daughter. Three, Billie is my f–kin baby. Yesterday, from the Met to the party, everything was drama free. Why do yall wanna turn everything into mess?”
In the voice message, Billie said, “Oh my God, I was so worried that you were going to see that. I was f–king calling the people around you weird because everybody was coming up to you, shoving their phones into your ass. And I was like, ‘Just look at her with your eyes!’”
Cardi responded to Billie with a voice message that said, “The internet is trying to divide us. They don’t understand that you’re my baby.”
Just one month ago, Cardi had deactivated her social media pages amid online drama.
