
Gannon Stauch, 11, was reported lacking by his stepmother, Letecia Stauch, in January 2020. Two months later, the boy’s frame is located 1,four hundred miles away from his Colorado home, beneath a bridge in Pace, Florida. We now know Gannon Stauch was murdered in his bedroom through his stepmother, in keeping with El Paso County police.
Letecia Stauch was the sole caregiver on the time of the boy’s disappearance and death. Gannon lived together with his stepmother and his father near Colorado Springs; his organic mother lives in South Carolina.
Letecia Stauch has been charged with:
- Murder within the First-Degree (Child Under Twelve-Position of Trust §18-3-102(1)(f))
- Child Abuse Resulting in Death §18-6-401(1)(a), (7)(A)(I)
- Tampering with a Deceased Human Body, §18-8-610.5
- Tampering with Physical Evidence, §18-8-610(1)(a)
Recovered proof supports a violent event that befell in Gannon’s bedroom with blood spatter at the walls and blood that soaked during the carpet. Police say Gannon used to be shot within the jaw and stabbed more than 18 occasions.
