Police said a 73-year-old man got here to the police department round 3:30 p.m. claiming he have been battered through his roommate. After initially being indecisive, the man made up our minds to sign a complaint for battery, Harwood Heights Police Chief John DeVries said.
A couple of hours later, officials escorted the person home to look if the entirety was once alright, at which point the roommate allegedly became confrontational, police said.
According to the executive, officials had been instructed the roommate may have guns and/or ammunition stored in the home.

Officers then escorted the sufferer and every other older guy, believed to be the suspect’s father, out of the house. They additionally started evacuating different neighbors as smartly.
