Police in Texas have arrested a woman they are saying shot the daddy of her kids during a custody exchange.
Keshante Shamirra Harris, 27, is accused of taking pictures Aaron Konte Williams, 29, on Sunday evening when Williams used to be losing of probably the most two kids he shares with Harris.
According to a Houston Police press release, Williams and Harris “were in a prior dating dating,” and Williams used to be bringing one of the kids again from a weekend consult with.
Williams “had his present female friend within the vehicle with him” on the time of the exchange, police mentioned, which apparently angered Harris.
“Harris was disillusioned Williams’ female friend used to be present at the time of the exchange and shot at Williams several occasions,” police said. “Williams used to be struck in the arm and leg.”
According to a court submitting, Harris “shot at” Williams “whilst knowing that at least one child used to be in [Williams’] car[.]”
She allegedly fired the gun four instances and hit Williams with two bullets. She then “ripped [Williams’] necklace from [Williams’] neck” and then “sped away in and crashed [Williams’] automobile into a mild pole.”
Police say that Williams used to be handled at an area health facility. His wounds aren't existence threatening, and neither his female friend nor the child in the automobile at the time had been injured.
Court information show that Harris is charged with aggravated theft with a perilous weapon.
According to Harris County Sheriff’s Office records, Harris is these days in custody and has a listening to scheduled for Thursday.
