WILL COUNTY, Ill. (WLS) — A mistrial was once declared Wednesday in the trial of guy charged with killing a pregnant girl and her 3 children in a crash in Beecher in 2017.

Prosecutors stated Sean Woulfe was once driving more than 75 miles an hour when he ran a stop signal and hit some other car, killing Lindsey Schmidt, her unborn kid, and her 3 young children, Owen, Kaleb and Weston.

The Schmidt circle of relatives was once only one block from their Beecher house when the crash occurred. Lindsey Schmidt was taking her boys to bible camp when they had been hit, the sheriff’s office mentioned.

Woulfe used to be charged with multiple counts of reckless homicide. Woulfe’s legal professional stated the judge additionally issued a gag order.
