The tourist who was killed by a crazed gunman out of doors of a restaurant in Miami Beach was a “hero” who “cherished his circle of relatives” and attempted to protect them from hurt’s manner in his final moments, family stated.
Dustin Wakefield, 21, of Castle Rock, Colorado, used to be hailed for allegedly status up to protect his 1-year-old son and spouse, Karina, when the accused gunman, Tamarius Blair Davis, 22, approached them out of doors of La Cerveceria de Barrio on Tuesday evening.

The circle of relatives said that Dustin was a “faithful and loving husband” to his spouse of 2 years.
“Karina is the love of his life, and she or he is aware of it. His love for her will have to inspire us. As a father, he was once stuffed with love and pride. His son knows he is beloved,” the remark stated.
His uncle, Mike Wakefield, mentioned that Dustin was once “very proud of his family.”
“He used to be a brilliant gentle. He was once a younger father. He cherished his circle of relatives,” he told NBC Miami.
Witnesses described a frightening scene in which Davis opened hearth on Wakefield at shut vary in the outdoor dining segment of the eating place then danced over his body.
Davis instructed government that he took mushrooms “which made him feel empowered” to shoot Wakefield and any other customer, who suffered non-life-threatening accidents, consistent with a police file.
